Job Description:
Join a collaborative technology organization as a QA Manager, where you will lead a team of QA engineers while helping shape the future of quality assurance, automation, and testing strategy across enterprise software platforms. This role combines hands-on automation leadership with people management responsibilities, requiring someone who can mentor teams, improve QA processes, and partner closely with Engineering, Product, and IT leadership to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure software solutions. The ideal candidate thrives in Agile environments, enjoys solving complex quality challenges, and is passionate about driving automation and continuous improvement initiatives across development teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of manual and automation QA engineers across multiple software initiatives.
- Drive improvements to QA strategy, testing standards, automation frameworks, and quality best practices.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and IT teams to integrate quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Support and enhance automated testing initiatives using modern testing frameworks and tools.
- Establish and promote quality standards related to functionality, reliability, performance, and security.
- Participate in hands-on testing, automation development, troubleshooting, and test reviews when needed.
- Improve regression coverage, automation suites, and testing processes to reduce risk and improve delivery quality.
- Contribute to CI/CD and DevOps-oriented quality practices by integrating automated testing into deployment pipelines.
- Identify quality trends, risks, and process improvement opportunities while communicating recommendations to leadership.
- Support digital marketing and analytics-related initiatives involving APIs, tracking technologies, and automated validation efforts.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of automated testing experience using frameworks such as Playwright, SpecFlow, Reqnroll, or similar technologies.
- 3+ years of leadership or mentoring experience managing QA engineers or QA initiatives.
- Strong automation-first mindset with experience improving QA scalability, reliability, and delivery velocity.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams and CI/CD or DevOps-oriented environments.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and automated testing best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with digital marketing platform testing, marketing KPIs and/or Google Analytics is a plus.
- Experience in the insurance industry is a plus.

The base salary range for this position is $120,000 – $140,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
