Job Description
We are seeking a Product Owner with strong Agile and ServiceNow experience to help drive the delivery and enhancement of enterprise technology solutions. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, Scrum Masters, developers, and QA resources to define priorities, manage product backlogs, and ensure successful execution of product initiatives. The Product Owner will be responsible for translating business needs into actionable user stories, guiding sprint and release planning activities, and supporting the delivery of scalable, high-quality solutions that align with organizational goals. This position requires strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, along with the ability to balance business priorities and technical requirements in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders, business teams, and technical teams to define product goals, priorities, and delivery roadmaps.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Create, refine, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog and user stories.
- Translate business needs into clear and actionable requirements for development teams.
- Lead or participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning.
- Coordinate product releases and communicate timelines, risks, and progress updates to stakeholders.
- Work closely with developers, QA teams, Scrum Masters, and technical leads to support successful solution delivery.
- Assist with development of test plans, testing coordination, and user acceptance activities.
- Monitor sprint progress, team capacity, dependencies, and delivery milestones using Agile project management tools.
- Ensure product backlog visibility and alignment with evolving business priorities and stakeholder feedback.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to Agile delivery processes and product management practices.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams and departments.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Project Management, Scrum Master, or related Agile delivery roles.
- Experience working within Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices and procedures.
- Experience using Agile and application lifecycle management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or similar platforms.
- Experience with the ServiceNow platform, including user and/or administrative functionality.
- Strong ability to create user stories, manage product backlogs, and prioritize competing business needs.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, organizational, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience supporting testing, QA processes, and release coordination activities.
- Experience with ServiceNow implementations or additional platform modules.
- ITIL certification or equivalent IT service management experience.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.
- Prior experience within insurance, financial services, or other enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of business analysis and process improvement methodologies.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position is $100,000 – $120,000 per year, not including benefits, potential bonuses or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth
