Job Description:
Join a growing technology organization as a Quality Assurance Team Lead, combining hands-on technical QA work with team leadership and mentorship. You’ll help guide QA professionals through Agile delivery, support automation and regression testing, review test code, and continuously improve quality practices. This role is ideal for an experienced QA professional who enjoys staying technically involved while coaching others and driving high-quality, secure software releases.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop QA team members while promoting strong testing practices and standards.
- Support Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Standups, Retrospectives, and Production Releases.
- Help manage team capacity, priorities, impediments, and sprint delivery commitments.
- Own and participate in regression testing for assigned application areas.
- Review automated test code and provide feedback on quality, maintainability, and scalability.
- Ensure automation aligns with established security, compliance, and quality standards.
- Partner with other QA leaders to improve testing processes, tools, documentation, and standards.
- Evaluate new testing tools and approaches to improve automation, efficiency, and test coverage.
- Support interviewing, onboarding, coaching, development planning, and performance management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 3+ years of QA experience across system, regression, integration, compatibility, performance, and UAT testing.
- 2+ years of QA leadership, coaching, or mentoring experience.
- 3+ years of automation experience with Playwright, SpecFlow/Reqnroll, or similar frameworks.
- Proficiency with an object-oriented language such as C# or Java.
- Strong experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Experience with SQL, NoSQL, or other query languages.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration across technical and business teams.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field, or equivalent relevant industry experience.

The base salary range for this position is $100,000 – $120,000, excluding benefits or other compensation. Final compensation will depend on skills, qualifications, experience, geographic location, and other considerations permitted by law.
