Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Project Accountant to support multiple commercial construction projects. This role is responsible for managing accounts receivable, AIA billing, lien waivers, and collections to ensure strong cash flow and accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will work closely with project teams to maintain compliance and resolve billing issues efficiently.
Responsibilities:
· Prepare and submit AIA pay applications (G702/G703), including progress billings, retention, and change orders
· Track and manage lien waivers, ensuring compliance with contract and lender requirements
· Manage accounts receivable, monitor aging reports, and drive collections efforts
· Process billings through systems such as Textura and maintain accurate AR schedules
· Assist with month-end close and resolve billing discrepancies

Qualifications and Requirements:
· 3+ years of construction accounting experience
· Strong experience with AIA G702/G703 billing, lien waivers, and AR collections
· Knowledge of construction contracts, retention, and change orders
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
· Preferred: Experience with Sage, Textura, or Procore
