Job Description
The Senior Accountant will manage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting while serving as a key point of contact for property owners. This role requires strong analytical skills, ownership mentality, and the ability to work independently across multiple entities.

What You Will Do
- Manage accounting for a portfolio of ~20 commercial properties
- Lead month-end close and prepare financial reporting packages
- Perform cash management, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Review staff accountant work (reconciliations, transactions)
- Communicate directly with property owners regarding financials
What You Bring
- 3+ years of accounting experience (Senior-level or ready to step up)
- Strong understanding of month-end close and financial statements
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively
- Excellent communication skills (client-facing experience preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Property accounting or real estate experience
- Yardi or similar property management software experience
- Experience managing multiple entities or business units
- Advanced Excel skills
