A well-established and highly respected organization in the Des Moines area is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to oversee high-volume billing, receivables, and revenue operations while playing a key role in an upcoming enterprise-wide ERP implementation. Key Responsibilities
- Lead all daily billing, receivables, and revenue collection operations
- Supervise and develop a team responsible for customer account services and cash operations
- Oversee accounts receivable, collections, payment plans, and account reconciliations
- Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Manage cash handling procedures, merchant services, and internal controls
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and reporting requirements
- Serve as a system administrator for revenue-related applications while supporting ERP enhancements and implementation activities
- Partner with departments across the organization to improve processes and enhance the customer experience
- Support annual audit activities and prepare financial analyses for leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- 2-3+ years of progressive accounting, accounts receivable, billing, or revenue operations experience
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience, strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable, billing, collections, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting
- Experience working and training others within ERP systems; Workday or similar platforms
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
