Job Description
A vehicle parts manufacturing company in Hodgenville, Kentucky is hiring for a Quality Manager role. This position is responsible for leading and managing quality assurance and quality control responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO 9001 requirements
- Documenting, completing audits, monitoring, reporting key metrics
- Lead all quality assurance related inspections, including receiving inspections, control point inspections, and shipping inspections
- Oversee customer requirements and complaints
- Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, and Engineering Departments on improvement activities
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 5 years prior experience in a quality leadership role is required
- Prior leadership role in the automotive manufacturing industry is preferred
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards
- Prior experience with Pre-Production Approval Processes (PPAP)
- Working experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment screening, including drug and background checks
