Job Description:
Join a collaborative and fast-growing technology team as a Quality Assurance Engineer, where you will play a critical role in advancing software quality, automation, and testing strategy across enterprise applications. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing manual and automated testing while helping modernize QA processes within an Agile environment. You will work closely with developers, analysts, and product owners to build scalable testing solutions, improve automation coverage, and ensure high-quality software delivery as part of a broader digital transformation initiative.
Responsibilities:
- Design, execute, and maintain both manual and automated test cases for functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Build and enhance automated testing frameworks using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or similar technologies.
- Conduct API testing using Postman or comparable tools to validate RESTful services.
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and product owners to define acceptance criteria and testing strategies.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
- Document, track, and manage defects through resolution using Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to QA automation, CI/CD pipelines, and testing best practices.
- Analyze performance testing results and recommend improvements to system reliability and scalability.
- Mentor junior team members and help promote a “shift-left” testing mindset across development teams.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including both manual and automated testing; with a preference of 5+ years of experience.
- Strong experience with automated testing tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test design, and defect management processes.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

The base salary range for this position is $70,000 – $120,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
