Job Description
Seeking friendly, energetic, and dependable Cafeteria Style Line Servers to join our clients team. In this customer-facing role, you'll serve delicious soul food in a fast-paced cafeteria-style environment while providing outstanding hospitality. You'll also help maintain a clean dining area by performing light table bussing and ensuring guests enjoy an exceptional dining experience.
- Greet guests with a welcoming and positive attitude.
- Serve food by accurately scooping and portioning menu items according to restaurant standards.
- Answer guest questions about menu items and make recommendations when appropriate.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and well-stocked serving line.
- Monitor food quality and notify kitchen staff when items need replenishing.
- Perform light table bussing, including clearing tables, wiping surfaces, and resetting dining areas.
- Refill condiment stations, napkins, utensils, and beverage supplies.
- Assist with opening, closing, and general cleaning duties.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members to provide excellent guest service.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous food service or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Dependable with excellent attendance.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
