Job Description
Are you someone who takes pride in quality and attention to detail? We are seeking a dependable Operator / Inspector to join a growing manufacturing team on 2nd Shift. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you will inspect finished products to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards. This position primarily involves visual inspections and making pass/fail decisions based on established guidelines. No prior experience using precision measuring equipment is required—we'll provide the training you need to succeed.
What You'll Do
- Perform visual inspections of finished products according to customer specifications
- Approve or reject finished goods based on established quality standards
- Report quality concerns or product defects to management
- Maintain accurate inspection records
- Follow all safety, quality, and workplace procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
What You'll Need
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English
- Previous manufacturing or inspection experience is helpful but not required
- Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude
