Job Description
We’re seeking an HR Representative to support full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, HR records, compliance, employee engagement, and training initiatives. This is a hands-on role that works closely with employees and managers across the organization, with some travel to company locations throughout the state. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, along with 1–2 years of HR experience and prior administrative experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for exempt, non-exempt, temporary, and student positions.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies and participate in job fairs and recruiting events.
- Conduct interviews, assessments, reference checks, background checks, and offer processes.
- Coordinate electronic onboarding, new hire orientation, check-ins, and offboarding.
- Support employee relations, engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company events.
- Assist with benefits administration and employee inquiries.
- Maintain accurate HR records, personnel files, and employment documentation.
- Support employee training programs and coordinate training-related travel.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Manage OSHA reporting and serve as a liaison with the workers’ compensation carrier.
- Prepare HR reports, forms, logs, and other documentation.
- Manage company uniform/apparel purchasing and inventory.
- Travel regularly to company locations throughout the state.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 1–2 years of HR experience preferred.
- 1–2 years of administrative experience required.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws preferred.
- Experience with full-cycle recruiting and sourcing strategies.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Highly organized with excellent time-management and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe.
- Comfortable presenting to groups and facilitating training or meetings.
- Adaptable, dependable, responsive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel regularly to company locations throughout the state.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.

The base pay for this position is $50,000-$60,000+, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
