Job Description:
This role manages employment documentation, I-9 and E-Verify requirements, background checks, required acknowledgments, and onboarding records while maintaining confidentiality, data accuracy, and audit readiness. The specialist partners with HR and hiring managers to identify compliance gaps, resolve documentation issues, and ensure a consistent, timely, and legally compliant onboarding experience.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct an audit of active and terminated employee personnel files
- Identify missing I-9s, background checks, vaccination records, and other required healthcare compliance documentation
- Verify regulatory compliance and communicate potential risks to leadership
- Reorganize the HR office and establish an orderly filing system
- Help ensure HR records and processes are in good condition for the incoming permanent HR Director
- Support onboarding activities as needed, although compliance and file organization are the immediate priorities
- E-Verify is currently utilized
Requirements:
- Experience in e-verify
- Experience in compliance and documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is required.
- Professional in Human Resource Certification desired.
- Minimum of 1-5 years’ experience in Human Resources required, with experience in retail and/or pharmacy
- Experience working within Healthcare environment

Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future & continued salary growth
