Consultant II – Senior Accountant

· Competitive Pay of $46.00 per hour

The Senior Accountant will report directly to the CFO and play a key role in supporting the organization’s financial operations. This position is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who can work independently, manage multiple priorities, and take ownership of accounting responsibilities with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to provide accurate and timely financial information. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity for a dependable professional looking for long-term career growth.

· Manage general ledger activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes

· Prepare and analyze financial reports, account schedules, and supporting documentation

· Assist the CFO with financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and special accounting projects

· Review financial information for accuracy, identify discrepancies, and research and resolve accounting issues

· Maintain accurate financial records and ensure accounting procedures and company policies are followed

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred

· 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a Senior Accountant or similar role

· Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close

· Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision

· Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

The base pay range for this position is $46.00/hr., excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
