- Coordinate with customers, vessel operators, shipping agents, terminals, customs brokers, and international logistics partners.
- Monitor vessel schedules, cargo readiness, and documentation deadlines to ensure timely shipment execution.
- Obtain document approvals and manage amendments, discrepancies, and requests for additional information.
- Maintain accurate shipment files and provide proactive status updates to customers and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, customer requirements, and documentation release guidelines.
- Troubleshoot shipment and documentation issues, proactively identifying solutions to prevent delays and additional costs.
- Manage multiple shipments, deadlines, and customer requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through responsive communication and exceptional service.
- Work independently while collaborating with a geographically dispersed team.
- Attend industry events and represent the organization professionally when needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:

- Experience preparing and reviewing bills of lading, cargo manifests, certificates of origin, commercial invoices, and other export documentation.
- Understanding of ocean freight terminology, international shipping processes, and export documentation requirements.
- Strong customer service skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build strong customer relationships.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and the ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and adapt to changing customer requirements.
