Job Description
A well-established precision manufacturing company is seeking an Electropolish / Passivation Operator to operate electropolishing, passivation, and parts-washing systems. In this hands-on role, you’ll follow detailed processing instructions, adjust equipment parameters, maintain process chemistry, and inspect finished parts for quality. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable working with process equipment and chemicals, and takes pride in producing quality work.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, load, unload, and process parts according to job-specific processing instructions, machine settings, and cycle times
- Adjust processing parameters, including voltage, amperage, heat, and time, according to established requirements
- Inspect finished parts using gauges, microscopes, and surface analyzers to verify quality
- Maintain process chemistry and monitor gauges, control panels, and timers to ensure equipment operates properly
- Perform routine equipment maintenance, including cleaning tanks, replenishing solutions, and cleaning contacts and cathode bars
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic math, English, and computer skills
- Chemical safety awareness training as required for the position
- Basic knowledge of electropolishing, passivation, and wash system controls, tooling, and fixtures
- Prior experience in a precision machining or metal finishing environment preferred
- Basic knowledge of waste treatment procedures preferred
- Ability to work 2nd shift, Monday–Thursday, 2:30 PM–1:00 AM

The base pay range for this position is $18+ per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
