Job Description
We are seeking a Designer/Drafter with strong mechanical aptitude and SolidWorks expertise to support engineering and production teams. This role involves creating detailed technical drawings and performing basic FEA to validate designs. You’ll work closely with engineers to develop new components and revise existing designs. Ideal for a hands-on, technically skilled professional ready to grow with a supportive team.
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using SolidWorks
- Perform basic Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to support design validation
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to develop accurate designs
- Maintain documentation including BOMs, part lists, and revisions
- Ensure designs meet safety, quality, and performance standards
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and experience with FEA tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Associate degree or technical training preferred (Bachelor’s not required)
- 1–3 years of drafting/design experience in a manufacturing or engineering setting

The base salary range for this position is $24.00-33.00, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
