Job Description We are hiring ASAP for a Designer/AutoCAD candidate to join a leading construction team in Mead, NE. This role is responsible for creating accurate drawings and competitive cost estimates while coordinating with internal teams to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction. Candidates with CAD experience, strong math aptitude, and a background in construction estimating will thrive in this collaborative and detail-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare drawings and material listings using industry-specific software (e.g., Construction Maestro, SketchUp, Excel)
- Perform data entry, double-checks, and cross-verification for accuracy
- Collaborate with sales, dealers, purchasing, production, shipping, and admin teams
- Interface with suppliers, crews, and internal personnel as needed
- Read and interpret engineered drawings to ensure project compliance
Qualifications and Requirements:
- CAD experience and computer literacy required
- High attention to detail and strong follow-through
- Excellent math aptitude, including knowledge of trigonometry
- Strong communication skills and ability to multitask
- Previous construction experience preferred, especially in post-frame industry
- Ability to lift at least 60 lbs; team lift required for over 80 lbs

The base salary range for this position is $43,680–$56,160, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
