What You’ll Do
- Support and ultimately own manufacturing cost-accounting and inventory activities
- Analyze standard costs, manufacturing variances, labor, overhead, WIP, and other key cost drivers
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting as you grow into the position
- Support month-end close activities related to manufacturing costs and inventory
- Partner with the Controller and Operations to understand how costs move through the manufacturing process
- Use Excel and ERP data to analyze results and provide meaningful financial insight
Qualifications & Requirements
- 2+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with manufacturing costs, inventory, or related plant-accounting responsibilities
- Strong Excel skills and the ability to work comfortably with financial and operational data
- Understanding of standard costing, BOMs, routings, labor, overhead, or variance analysis preferred
- Epicor or another manufacturing ERP system preferred
- Ability to work 100% onsite
