What You’ll Do:
- Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to gather requirements and improve financial reporting and close processes
- Translate business needs into user stories, functional specifications, and technical documentation
- Lead user acceptance testing (UAT), validate financial data, and support system implementations
- Investigate data quality issues, reconcile financial information, and identify process improvements
- Collaborate with developers, QA teams, auditors, and business leaders to deliver accurate, compliant financial solutions
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting Finance or Accounting organizations
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
- Experience gathering requirements, writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting UAT
- Strong SQL, Excel, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
