Join a collaborative technology team as a Business Systems Analyst, where you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. In this role, you will translate requirements into detailed system specifications, working closely with Product Owners, developers, and architects to deliver scalable, well-defined solutions. This position is ideal for someone with strong systems thinking who enjoys working with data flows, integrations, and complex application environments in an Agile setting.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment on requirements and solutions.
- Analyze system architecture, data flows, and integrations to support effective solution design.
- Elicit and document detailed functional and technical requirements, including user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Translate business needs into system specifications, data mappings, and configuration requirements.
- Support development teams by clarifying requirements and resolving technical questions.
- Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and solution design discussions.
- Validate system functionality and support testing efforts, including UAT and integration testing.
- Identify system inefficiencies and recommend enhancements to improve performance and scalability.
- Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role in a technology-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of systems analysis, data flows, and integrations.
- Ability to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
- Experience working with enterprise platforms (Guidewire or similar preferred).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of APIs, data structures, and configuration-driven systems.
