Job Description
As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will primarily support the Accounts Payable function by processing invoices, reconciling vendor accounts, and ensuring timely and accurate payments. This role is essential to maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close activities, and delivering excellent service to internal teams and vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Process high-volume vendor invoices and verify accurate general ledger coding
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies
- Prepare weekly check runs and process ACH and wire payments
- Reconcile corporate credit card transactions and maintain accurate expense records
- Monitor the accounts payable inbox and respond to vendor and internal inquiries
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
- Assist with month-end closing activities and accounts payable reporting
- Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance
- Provide backup support for accounts receivable as needed
- Perform additional accounts payable and accounting duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ year of Accounts Payable experience preferred
- Experience processing high-volume invoices strongly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
- ERP experience required; Syteline experience preferred
- Manufacturing accounting experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

The base pay range for this position is $20/hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
