A well-established, service-driven organization is seeking an Accounting Manager (leadership-level exposure) to lead all accounting functions and serve as a key financial partner to executive leadership. This is a highly visible role offering ownership of budgeting, financial reporting, and process improvement within a collaborative, mission-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle accounting operations across multiple entities
- Own month-end close, financial reporting, and general ledger oversight
- Take over budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Coordinate external audit activities and ensure compliance
- Oversee AP team functions and outsourced AR processes
- Provide financial insights and support organizational decision-making
- Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies
- Collaborate with leadership on strategic financial initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong experience with month-end close and financial reporting
- Budgeting and forecasting experience required
- Experience in multi-entity or complex accounting environments preferred
- Strong communication skills with ability to partner cross-functionally
- Tech-savvy with ability to adapt to systems and process changes
