Job Description:
The Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist performs a variety of accounting functions with significant focus on customer collection calls on past due accounts receivable balances.
Responsibilities:
- Make daily phone calls to customers on past due A/R balances.
- Log and Record progress of collection calls.
- Prepares and distributes all monthly commission reports
- Prepare and distribute the daily and weekly A/R reports
- Work directly with current A/R Team to resolve past due balances.
- Other work as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ overall accounts receivable experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in customer collections
- Minimum 5 years’ experience posting cash accounting transactions
- Minimum 5 years’ experience invoicing customers
- General knowledge of sales tax
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP’s, Pivot Tables, Macros)
- Proactive in completing tasks timely
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Self-Starter/Proactive mindset regarding alleviating and preventing past due A/R
- Flexible scheduling to accommodate business needs
- Excellent organizational skills
- Adaptable to changing business needs

The base salary range for this position is $30.00 – $35.00 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
