Job Description
An established manufacturing company is seeking a Resin Mixer to safely prepare, test, transfer, and monitor resin materials used in daily production. This position is responsible for maintaining resin inventory levels, following approved formulations, completing SAP transactions, and ensuring production has a consistent supply of material. The Resin Mixer will work closely with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams while maintaining strong safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and mix resin batches according to production schedules, approved formulations, and required storage tank levels.
- Receive, unload, test, and document raw resin materials, including bulk tank truck deliveries, batch records, samples, labels, and SAP transactions.
- Operate and monitor resin pumps, valves, pipelines, sensors, transfer systems, and production tank pump-out processes to maintain proper resin flow.
- Collect and prepare raw material, filler bag, and resin samples for required quality testing and documentation.
- Troubleshoot and report equipment, process, quality, or safety concerns while partnering with Maintenance, Production, and Quality teams to resolve issues.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; previous manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.
- Experience with chemicals, resins, industrial mixing equipment, SAP, or another ERP system is preferred.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to accurately complete production records, batch documentation, and system transactions required.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to follow work instructions, complete documentation, communicate with cross-functional teams, and follow safety procedures.
- Ability to safely operate pumps, valves, hoses, and resin transfer equipment with strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 12-hour shifts and frequently bend, kneel, squat, climb stairs, reach overhead, push, pull, and maneuver production equipment.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds with assistance or approved lifting equipment.
- Ability to work around moving equipment, industrial chemicals, resin materials, noise, chemical vapors, and varying manufacturing temperatures.
- Must wear required PPE, which may include safety glasses, chemical-resistant gloves, steel-toe safety shoes, hearing protection, high-visibility apparel, respiratory protection, and other job-specific PPE.
- Must be available for overtime, weekends, or holidays when required by production demands.

The base pay range for this position is $17.00, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
