A growing, locally owned organization is seeking an experienced professional to oversee finance, accounting, and all HR functions while serving as a key contributor to executive leadership. This is a highly visible, urgent hire with direct exposure to the CEO/President and ownership of core financial and operational processes.
Job Description
This role leads all accounting operations, financial reporting, and HR administration across a multi-entity environment. You’ll drive month-end close, support budgeting and forecasting, oversee payroll and benefits, and partner with leadership to provide insights that guide business decisions. The position also plays a critical role in strengthening internal communication, improving processes, and maintaining compliance across functions.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
- Oversee all AP/AR, payroll (including commissions), and cash flow management
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis alongside leadership
- Manage all HR functions – new staff onboarding, benefits, and compliance
- Supervise and develop a team of 4 staff members
Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive accounting or financial management experience
- Leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional collaboration
- Strong knowledge of GAAP & FP&A standards
- Experience in multi-entity or small business environments preferred
- Excellent communication skills with ability to partner across departments
