Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Wafer Process Technician to support the manufacturing of compound semiconductor devices in a cleanroom environment. This role involves operating advanced semiconductor fabrication equipment, handling wafers and chemicals, performing routine equipment maintenance, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate is technically minded, safety-conscious, and committed to maintaining process integrity in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
• Operate semiconductor manufacturing equipment including coating, deposition, inspection, and metrology systems
• Perform wafer processing activities following standard operating procedures in a cleanroom environment
• Handle chemicals, chemical solutions, and waste disposal in accordance with safety requirements
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance, equipment checks, and basic troubleshooting activities
• Document process deviations, support investigations, and assist with continuous improvement and new product initiatives
• Perform wafer processing activities following standard operating procedures in a cleanroom environment
• Handle chemicals, chemical solutions, and waste disposal in accordance with safety requirements
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance, equipment checks, and basic troubleshooting activities
• Document process deviations, support investigations, and assist with continuous improvement and new product initiatives
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Associate degree or technical diploma in a science, engineering, or related field preferred
• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably within the semiconductor industry
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow procedures and instructions precisely
• Ability to wear cleanroom attire and required PPE throughout the shift
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably within the semiconductor industry
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow procedures and instructions precisely

The base pay range for this position is $30,160–$34,736 annually, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
