Job Description:
Join a rapidly growing organization as a Systems Administrator V, where you'll serve as one of the senior technical experts responsible for designing, supporting, and optimizing critical Microsoft infrastructure. This is a highly visible role that combines hands-on technical work with cross-functional leadership, making it ideal for a seasoned systems administrator who enjoys mentoring others, improving enterprise processes, and partnering with business leaders to deliver scalable technology solutions. You'll help drive operational excellence while supporting continued organizational growth across multiple business lines.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and optimize enterprise Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, user management, and document management platforms.
- Design and implement scalable user frameworks that support multiple business units and future organizational growth.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell automation to streamline administration, provisioning, and operational tasks.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Lead technical initiatives involving Microsoft infrastructure, identity management, collaboration platforms, and enterprise productivity tools.
- Coordinate project work across technical peers, helping prioritize initiatives and delegate work effectively.
- Mentor junior administrators by sharing technical expertise, best practices, and operational improvements.
- Evaluate current infrastructure and recommend enhancements that improve scalability, security, and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
- Present technical recommendations and project updates to both technical teams and executive business stakeholders.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 7+ years of Systems Administration, Infrastructure Engineering, or Enterprise Microsoft Administration experience.
- Extensive experience administering Microsoft 365 applications, SharePoint, user management, and enterprise collaboration platforms.
- Advanced PowerShell scripting experience (required).
- Experience designing scalable Microsoft environments supporting multiple business units, product lines, or franchise-style organizations.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft identity, authentication, and enterprise administration best practices.
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives without direct management authority.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to tailor messaging for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while helping mentor and develop other technical team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting rapidly growing organizations or enterprise technology transformations.
- Familiarity with enterprise document management solutions and governance.
- Experience improving operational processes through automation and standardization.

The base salary range for this position is $120,000 – $128,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation.
