Job Description:
We are seeking a Property Manager to support the Multifamily Housing Department through resident communication, administrative support, rent collection, lease compliance, and property management functions. This role serves as a key point of contact for residents, applicants, visitors, and community partners while ensuring housing procedures remain compliant with applicable regulations. The Property Manager will assist with daily office operations, work orders, lease renewals, delinquent account follow-up, reporting, and resident concerns. This is a full-time opportunity ideal for someone with strong customer service, clerical, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist residents, applicants, visitors, landlords, and community organizations in person and by phone
• Receive, log, and process rent payments, prepare deposits, balance cash drawer, and complete end-of-day reporting
• Process work orders, communicate urgent maintenance needs, and maintain accurate records and files
• Prepare, mail, and track lease termination notices, electronic lease renewals, and resident account updates
• Handle minor resident concerns, conduct late rent counseling sessions, and assist with monthly and end-of-month reporting

Qualifications and Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Up to one year of related clerical experience preferred, preferably in property management
• Valid driver’s license required and must be insurable under the organization’s plan
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to communicate clearly, manage multiple calls and visitors, maintain accurate records, and build positive working relationships

The base pay range for this position is $19.13 – $29.80 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
