Job Description
A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to research, design, develop, and test mechanical and electromechanical products and systems. This position offers broad exposure across engineering, production, technical support, customers, and other areas of the organization. You’ll work with SolidWorks, electrical schematics, PLCs, testing, and product development while solving real-world engineering challenges. Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical and electromechanical products, components, systems, test procedures, drawings, and solid models using SolidWorks.
- Analyze customer specifications, technical drawings, schematics, manuals, and engineering data to determine design feasibility, performance, cost, and maintenance requirements.
- Coordinate fabrication, installation, testing, troubleshooting, and product modifications to ensure equipment meets engineering and customer specifications.
- Develop electrical schematics and work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), pressure vessel designs, calculations, materials specifications, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with production teams, technical support, customers, field technicians, vendors, and regulatory agencies to troubleshoot equipment and support product performance and approvals.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Working knowledge of mechanical and electromechanical systems; experience with PLCs and electrical schematics is required for the responsibilities of the role.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, troubleshooting, technical writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in an office/warehouse environment, continuously stand or walk as required, and lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to occasionally travel overnight domestically and internationally; valid passport and appropriate identification required.
- Experience with manufacturing compliance requirements or government contracting regulations is preferred.

The base pay range for this position is up to $90,000 annually, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
