Job Description
An innovative and rapidly growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Manufacturing Technical Trainer to support expanding production operations and workforce development initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company during a significant growth phase and play a key role in building scalable training programs that drive operational excellence and employee success.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver hands-on technical training programs for manufacturing employees and production staff
- Build engaging onboarding experiences and skills certification pathways for new hires and existing team members
- Create and maintain instructional materials, process guides, visual aids, and standardized work documentation
- Educate employees on equipment operation, workplace safety, production procedures, and quality expectations
- Coordinate training timelines and schedules to align with operational and staffing needs
- Conduct evaluations, monitor employee progress, and provide coaching to reinforce technical competencies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure training content reflects current production methods and process updates
- Track employee certifications, training completion, and compliance records
- Identify opportunities to improve training effectiveness through performance feedback and operational metrics
- Assist with audit preparation and support adherence to internal policies and manufacturing standards
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, technical training, or production environments
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and production workflows
- Experience creating process documentation, training guides, or standardized procedures
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; LMS experience is a plus
- Bilingual language skills are a plus
- Experience with video editing or digital training content creation is beneficial
