Job Description
As an Industrial Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, mixing, and applying paint finishes to manufactured products while ensuring quality and safety standards are met. This role involves operating paint equipment, inspecting finished products, maintaining paint systems, and supporting production efficiency. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Mix paint, lacquer, solvents, and thinners according to specifications and standard formulas
- Prepare surfaces and apply paint coatings using spray equipment and painting tools
- Inspect painted surfaces for coverage, thickness, color consistency, and quality standards
- Maintain paint booths, spray guns, filters, and related equipment in compliance with OSHA and company requirements
- Maintain production records, support 5S initiatives, and follow all safety and quality policies
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous industrial painting or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to operate paint equipment, mixers, spray systems, and hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify paint defects or inconsistencies
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work independently or within a team environment
