Description
The HR Coordinator plays a key role in supporting onboarding, compliance, and day-to-day HR administrative operations. This position serves as a main point of contact for candidates after offer acceptance and helps ensure all pre-employment requirements, onboarding tasks, documentation, and system access are completed accurately and on time. The role works closely with candidates, hiring managers, HR, IT, and leadership to create a smooth and organized onboarding experience. The HR Coordinator also supports employee recordkeeping, compliance processes, front office functions, and general administrative needs within the HR department.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate onboarding and pre-employment processes, including background checks, drug screens, licensure verification, and new hire documentation
• Launch and monitor onboarding tasks through HRIS systems while ensuring all required documents are completed accurately and timely
• Maintain electronic personnel files, employee records, and compliance documentation in accordance with company policies
• Communicate onboarding updates, delays, discrepancies, or issues to candidates, hiring managers, HR, IT, and leadership
• Provide front office and administrative support, including answering calls, greeting visitors, and assisting with general clerical functions

Qualifications and Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant administrative or HR-related experience
• Strong communication, organization, follow-up, and documentation skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel; HRIS experience preferred
