Job Description:
This is more than a traditional HR Generalist role—it's an opportunity to become a trusted business partner to executive leadership with a clear path to grow into a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) role over the next five years.
Working closely with the Executive Director, you will help oversee day-to-day human resources operations while gradually assuming responsibilities from a long-tenured HR professional preparing for retirement. We're looking for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and wants to build a long-term career with an organization that values employee development and promotes from within.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee healthcare credentialing and provider licensing processes while preparing to assume full ownership of this function.
- Process payroll accurately and ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations.
- Manage benefits enrollment, leave administration, and employee communications related to benefits.
- Maintain HR records, personnel files, and HRIS data with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, healthcare regulations, and company policies.
- Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning, succession planning, organizational development, onboarding, and other strategic HR initiatives.
- Manage employee lifecycle activities, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance.
- Administer employee benefit programs, serve as the primary liaison with benefit brokers, and assist leadership in evaluating and selecting benefit offerings.
- Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance HR operations and employee experience.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- 2-3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- Healthcare HR experience strongly preferred.
- Experience managing healthcare credentialing and provider enrollment is highly desirable.
- Payroll processing experience required.
- Benefits administration experience, including working with insurance brokers and evaluating employee benefit plans.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position is $60,000 -$80,000 not including benefits, potential bonuses or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth
