Job Description
An established employer is seeking a skilled Facilities Electrician to support the electrical upfit of a new location in Asheboro, NC. This position will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems supporting facility and production operations, including lighting, circuits, panels, transformers, motors, controls, and conduit. The Facilities Electrician will also assist with equipment connections, facility improvements, testing, and safe system startup. This role requires strong electrical troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to applicable codes and safe work practices.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility electrical systems, including lighting, receptacles, branch circuits, panels, disconnects, transformers, motors, and controls
- Bend and install Rigid, IMC, and EMT conduit; pull, label, terminate, test, and document conductors and electrical devices
- Support electrical connections and installation work associated with the upfit and startup of the new facility
- Diagnose electrical failures using meters and test equipment while reading schematics, one-line diagrams, drawings, and equipment documentation
- Follow lockout/tagout and electrical safe-work practices while supporting repairs, inspections, shutdowns, and restoration of service
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code and applicable electrical safety requirements
- Experience bending and installing conduit and pulling and terminating electrical conductors
- Ability to troubleshoot commercial and industrial electrical systems using meters and other test instruments
- Ability to read electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, shop drawings, and equipment documentation
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements
- Strong communication, documentation, planning, and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or work for prolonged periods
- Ability to work in varying heat and cold and in environments where noise levels may reach or exceed 90 decibels
- Ability to perform electrical work at heights using ladders and lifts and wear required electrical PPE
- Availability for overtime, travel between facilities, and on-call work as necessary

The base pay range for this position is $25–$27 per hour DOE , excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
