Job Description:
Join an established manufacturing organization as an ERP System Administrator, supporting the ERP system that drives production, inventory, purchasing, parts, and financial operations. This is a hands-on role combining ERP administration with significant BOM, parts, inventory, and manufacturing data responsibilities. You’ll work closely with Engineering and shop-floor teams to maintain accurate data, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the ERP environment effectively supports manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and support the Global Shop Solutions ERP environment.
- Create and maintain configurations, fields, user accounts, permissions, business rules, and reports.
- Create, update, troubleshoot, and audit BOMs, work orders, parts, and inventory data.
- Enter and validate ERP data using engineering prints, Excel files, and other source documentation.
- Troubleshoot issues involving BOM changes, work orders, part numbers, inventory, and shop-floor transactions.
- Partner with Engineering and Production to investigate errors and maintain accurate manufacturing data.
- Assist users with ERP issues and coordinate with outside support when needed.
- Maintain data accuracy while identifying opportunities to improve ERP processes and workflows.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience working with an ERP system in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of BOMs, parts, inventory, work orders, and manufacturing processes.
- Engineering, drafting, design, production, or similar technical exposure.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas and data manipulation.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to learn complex systems through hands-on training.
- Comfortable working directly with Engineering, Production, and shop-floor employees.
- Patient and willing to master detailed foundational processes before taking on broader responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Global Shop Solutions or another manufacturing ERP such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Experience administering ERP configurations, users, permissions, business rules, and reporting.
- Strong experience maintaining and auditing BOMs, parts masters, inventory, and production data.
- ERP certification or additional manufacturing/engineering systems experience is a plus.

The hourly pay range for this position is $23 – $30 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Higher compensation may be considered for candidates with exceptional qualifications, particularly strong Global Shop Solutions experience. Final compensation will depend on skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
