Job Description
Join a mission-driven healthcare organization as their Director of Information Technology. In this critical leadership role, you’ll oversee IT operations across the system, ensuring reliable infrastructure, security compliance, and scalable growth. You’ll manage incident response and project planning while maintaining regulatory compliance and IT security across all departments. Your expertise will directly support the strategic goals of the health system.
Responsibilities
- Direct all IT operations and technical support services system-wide
- Ensure quality of infrastructure services, manage escalations, and plan for growth and disaster recovery
- Oversee IT project management and ensure alignment with strategic plans
- Lead the organization’s IT security program including risk assessments, policy development, and breach investigations
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations related to protected health information
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related field preferred (extensive related experience may substitute for some education)
- Minimum five years of experience managing an IT department
- Minimum five years of experience in IT project management
- Expert-level experience in Meditech systems
