Job Description:
Join a rapidly modernizing technology team as a Cybersecurity Engineer, where you will play a key role in protecting enterprise systems, data, and infrastructure. In this position, you will be responsible for advancing information security practices across the organization, including risk management, policy development, vulnerability management, and security operations. You will collaborate closely with IT leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical systems while proactively identifying and mitigating security risks.
Responsibilities:
- Support the design, development, and maintenance of security frameworks, including system security plans and risk assessments.
- Develop and manage security policies, procedures, and documentation across the organization.
- Monitor and communicate enterprise security risks, ensuring visibility and alignment with leadership.
- Conduct security assessments, audits, and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate risks.
- Analyze security logs and trends across multiple systems to detect potential threats.
- Partner with IT teams to prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities across applications, networks, and infrastructure.
- Evaluate and implement security tools to strengthen threat detection and prevention capabilities.
- Support cybersecurity awareness initiatives and training programs across the organization.
- Manage security-related projects, timelines, and reporting requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of progressive experience in information security or cybersecurity roles.
- CISSP certification required.
- Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and security best practices.
- Experience with vulnerability management, security monitoring, and incident response.
- Knowledge of current cybersecurity threats, tools, and techniques.
- Experience working in or supporting Security Operations Center (SOC) environments is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with cloud-based architectures is a plus.
- CISM, CISA, CEH, Security+ certifications are a plus.

The base salary range for this position is $130,000 – $140,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
