Job Description
Team1Medical is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for a temporary assignment in an Otolaryngology (ENT) clinic. Support providers with patient care, clinical procedures, and administrative tasks that keep the clinic running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for visits, take vital signs, collect medical histories, reconcile medications, and document the reason for the visit in the electronic medical record.
- Set up instruments and equipment, assist providers, and enter patient test orders under provider direction.
- Process and sterilize clinic instruments and rigid and flexible laryngoscopes; properly handle and maintain endoscopy equipment.
- Schedule appointments, coordinate incoming referrals, and manage patient calls and messages.
- Obtain and organize medical records, lab and imaging results, hospital notes, and audiology reports.
- Maintain exam room stock, monitor inventory, and order clinic supplies as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED and completion of an approved Medical Assistant training program through an accredited institution.
- At least two years of Medical Assistant experience.
- Current Medical Assistant certification through AAMA, AMT, ARMA, NCCT, NHA, NAHP, AMCA, AAH, AAMP, or NPS.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
