Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Catering & Events Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of catering events and conference services. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for clients while managing event logistics, vendor relationships, catering staff, and service delivery. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and experienced in hospitality, catering, or event management environments.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute catering and conference events from initial client consultation through event completion.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships while managing event proposals, contracts, and invoicing.
- Collaborate with culinary, service, and vendor teams to ensure seamless event execution and exceptional guest experiences.
- Supervise, train, schedule, and support catering staff while maintaining service and presentation standards.
- Manage event budgets, labor costs, inventory, and compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in catering, hospitality, event management, or food service operations.
- Proven experience managing client relationships, event logistics, and vendor coordination.
- Strong leadership skills with experience supervising and developing staff.
- Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and customer service abilities.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel locally as needed.
