Job Description
We’re seeking a hands-on Assembly Lead to support daily operations in a post-surface mount assembly environment. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Assembly Supervisor to drive production, ensure quality standards, and lead your team to success. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, enjoys mentoring others, and takes pride in delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities
- Lead daily cell operations by planning schedules, verifying build quantities, forecasting output, and ensuring on-time delivery goals are met
- Coordinate staffing, communicate priorities with material handlers, and ensure materials are ready to support production schedules
- Train, coach, and develop team members while promoting accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
- Monitor production quality by verifying in-process work, tracking rejects and scrap, identifying trends, and driving corrective actions
- Conduct time studies, track performance metrics, recommend process improvements, and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Qualifications and Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2–3 years of manufacturing or assembly experience required
- Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions
- Effective communication skills across teams and departments
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail for handling small components

The pay range for this position is $18.50 – $22.00, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
