Job Description:
A Small Parts Assembler manually constructs or alters intricate products or subassemblies by aligning, fastening, or bonding components. The role requires exceptional fine motor skills, acute hand-eye coordination, and the ability to follow exact technical specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Performing manual assembly of parts
- Inspect finished subassemblies for defects, correct fit, and overall functionality before passing them to the next production stage
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with safety (OSHA) and environmental guidelines
- Manage personal parts bins, monitor component stock levels, and alert supervisors when supplies are running
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must have good manual dexterity. Will be working with small parts
- Ability to read and perform basic math skills including counting
- Ability to follow directions and complete tasks
- Ability to work independently
- Must have good attention to detail
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen & background check
