Job Description
We are partnering with a healthcare clinic seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to support patient care and clinical operations. This role includes direct patient care, clinical support, and collaboration with providers to ensure high-quality outcomes. Submit your resume to explore this opportunity!
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care and education, assist physicians and nursing staff, and accurately document care in patient charts.
- Triage patient calls, manage voicemails, communicate test results, and respond to requests within 24 hours.
- Process and send electronic prescriptions daily, ensuring timely communication with patients and providers.
- Prepare patients for examinations and support daily clinic operations to maintain efficient patient flow.
- Maintain patient confidentiality, follow safety and infection control protocols, and collaborate with nursing staff to provide excellent patient care.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Current Texas LVN license in good standing.
- Minimum of two years of outpatient clinical experience is required.
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Cardiology experience is a plus but not required.
- Current BLS certification.
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Experience with EMR systems preferred.
