Job Description
An established distribution company is seeking a detail-oriented Order Picker / Packer to join its warehouse team. In this role, you will pick, inspect, pack, and prepare fragile holiday merchandise for shipment to customers. You will use RF scanners to accurately fulfill orders while maintaining quality and productivity standards. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced warehouse environment and takes pride in accuracy and teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Pick and verify customer orders using an RF scanner to locate merchandise and ensure accurate quantities.
- Inspect products for damage, missing parts, and quality concerns before packing.
- Pack and label fragile merchandise securely to prevent damage during shipping.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by reporting discrepancies, restocking picking areas, and keeping workspaces organized.
- Prepare shipments for carrier pickup while meeting daily productivity goals and following safety procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous warehouse, order picking, packing, or e-commerce fulfillment experience.
- RF scanner experience is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for order tracking and shipping labels.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends during peak holiday seasons.

The base pay range for this position is $17 hourly, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
