Job Description:
Join a growing financial services organization as a Project Manager within its newly established Enterprise Program Management Office. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Project Manager who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys leading complex strategic initiatives, and wants to help build a world-class PMO from the ground up.
Working alongside the AVP of the PMO, you'll lead cross-functional enterprise initiatives from planning through execution while partnering with executive leadership, business stakeholders, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters. This role goes beyond traditional project management, you'll help establish delivery excellence while supporting the organization's continued expansion into new business lines.
Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic enterprise initiatives through the full project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery of scope, schedule, budget, quality, and business outcomes.
- Build strong partnerships with business leaders, executive stakeholders, technology teams, and operational partners to drive project success.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, risk registers, status reporting, and project documentation.
- Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions, and change requests.
- Facilitate project meetings, stakeholder workshops, and executive status updates while driving alignment and informed decision-making.
- Partner with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and cross-functional teams across Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery environments.
- Monitor project financials, resource utilization, forecasts, and delivery performance while recommending corrective actions when needed.
- Ensure adherence to Enterprise PMO governance standards, methodologies, and reporting requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by promoting project management best practices and contributing to the evolution of the Enterprise PMO.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to project sponsors by providing proactive communication, risk assessments, and execution guidance throughout each initiative.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 5-8+ years of progressive Project Management or Program Management experience leading complex enterprise initiatives.
- Proven experience delivering cross-functional projects involving business and technology stakeholders.
- Experience working within an Enterprise PMO, PMO, or structured project delivery environment preferred.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project management methodologies.
- Experience managing project scope, budgets, schedules, risks, resource planning, and executive communications.
- Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to influence without direct authority while driving accountability across multiple business groups.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve and new capabilities are being established.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
- Bachelor's degree required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
- Experience supporting Wealth Management, Financial Services, Insurance, or other highly regulated industries.
- Experience leading enterprise transformation, organizational change, or strategic business initiatives.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Planner, or comparable project management tools.

The base salary range for this position is $120,000 – $128,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
