A well-established and growing organization in the Des Moines area is seeking a Finance Manager, with a strong FP&A background, to join its finance leadership team. This position offers the opportunity to influence strategic business decisions by leading budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance reporting. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting process and develop rolling financial forecasts
- Build and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and business decisions
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and explain budget-to-actual variances
- Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and dashboards for leadership
- Partner with operational teams to align financial objectives with business goals
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability, operational efficiency, and financial performance
- Support leadership with ad hoc financial analysis and strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 7+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience
- Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and financial modeling
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience building complex financial models
- Experience with multiple ERP systems and business reporting tools, like Power BI etc…
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- CPA, CFA, MBA, are a plus
