Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their accounting team. This position is responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor payments, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong accounts payable experience, excellent attention to detail, and hands-on experience using Yardi, including purchase order processing.
Responsibilities
- Process high-volume accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently using Yardi.
- Match invoices to purchase orders, verify approvals, and process vendor payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain organized accounts payable records and supporting documentation.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment and invoice issues.
- Assist with month-end closing activities and accounts payable reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
- 4–5 years of Accounts Payable experience required.
- Yardi software experience is required.
- Experience processing purchase orders within Yardi is required.
- High-volume invoice processing experience.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and vendor management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.

The base pay range for this position is $54,080–$62,400 annually, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Final compensation depends on skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
