Job Description
We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented General Warehouse Associates to support daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring products are accurately received, stored, organized, and shipped in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Forklift or cherry picker experience is a plus and may be utilized based on certification and business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general warehouse duties including receiving, sorting, staging, and storing inventory
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare merchandise for shipment when assigned
- Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments safely and efficiently
- Inspect products for accuracy, damage, or discrepancies and report issues promptly
- Maintain organized stock locations and assist with inventory management
- Operate RF scanners or other tracking systems to update inventory records (if applicable)
- Assist with order fulfillment and shipping preparation as needed
- Support cycle counts and physical inventory audits
- Ensure all products are handled with care to maintain quality standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with safety procedures
- Operate forklifts or cherry pickers when certified and assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and efficiency
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
