Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee core accounting functions and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. This role will lead month-end and year-end close processes, maintain the general ledger, and support audits and financial reporting. The Accounting Manager will report directly to the Controller and play a key role in driving process improvements. This is a hands-on leadership role within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
· Oversee and maintain the general ledger, including review and approval of journal entries and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness
· Lead and manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
· Review balance sheet and income statement accounts for proper classification, accuracy, and compliance with GAAP
· Coordinate and support internal and external audits, including preparation of schedules, documentation, and responding to audit requests
· Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff, including assigning work, reviewing performance, and ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met

Qualifications and Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience
· 4+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, including healthcare industry experience
· 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
· Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar)

The base pay range for this position is $98,000–$110,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
