Job Description
An established manufacturing operation in Aurora is seeking an experienced Stand-Up Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate to support material handling and warehouse operations. You will operate stand-up forklifts and other material-handling equipment to transport, store, retrieve, sort, and locate parts and supplies. This position requires previous warehouse experience, attention to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate stand-up forklifts, similar to Raymond or Crown equipment, as well as cherry pickers, turret equipment, hand jacks, and other material-handling equipment as required
- Pick, put away, transport, store, retrieve, identify, sort, stack, audit, and locate materials accurately and efficiently
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines and participate in team and safety meetings
- Use computers and scanners to support inventory and warehouse operations
- Maintain a clean and organized facility using 5S methodology and complete additional warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Stand-up forklift experience is required
- 1–2 years of warehouse experience
- Ability to operate computers and scanners
- Working knowledge of SAP
- Ability to read, understand, and follow simple written and verbal instructions
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust to changing operational demands
- Strong attention to detail and results
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees throughout the organization
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours
- Ability to bend, push, and lift more than 30 pounds
- Must be comfortable working in both hot and cold environments
- Steel-toe footwear is required on day one
- GED preferred but not required
- Must successfully complete the required pre-employment drug screen

The base pay range for this position is $20.00 per hour, plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential for a total of $21.00 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
