Roll Operator-Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm $25 per hour Temp to Hire
Setup, adjust and operate plate and angle rolls to roll wide variety of plates and structural metals. Operate manual and CNC plate rolls to make rolled parts and cylinders. Work from drawings, patterns, templates and written specifications. Some tack welding may be required.. Must be able to read blueprints
Experience: – Min. 2 years of experience in rolling metal materials. – Must be able to read blue prints and perform simple mathematic calculations. – Experience with common Measuring Instruments such as Tape Measure, Steel Rule, Caliper, Height Gage, Dial Indicator, Protractors etc. – Must be able to lift 50-60 lbs. – Basic Knowledge of various metals and shapes. – Ability to interact with other areas of shop.
Education: – High School diploma or equivalent – Additional education in technical field preferred
